Summary: Securities accounts and their events now link to the product they belong to; products no longer list their securities accounts

Securities Accounts

New Field: product

Securities accounts now return product, the identifier of the product the securities account belongs to. Use it to retrieve the product via GET /accounts/{account_id}/products/{id}. It is null when the securities account does not belong to a product. This affects the following endpoints:

• POST /accounts/{account_id}/securities_accounts - Create a securities account
• GET /accounts/{account_id}/securities_accounts - List securities accounts
• GET /accounts/{account_id}/securities_accounts/{securities_account_id} - Get a securities account

Events

New Event Context Field: product

The SecuritiesAccountEventContext now includes product, the identifier of the product the securities account belongs to. It is delivered on the securities_account.created, securities_account.opened, securities_account.rejected and securities_account.closed events, and is null when the securities account does not belong to a product.

Products

Removed Fields: securities_accounts and securities_account

The link between a product and its securities accounts is now held on the securities account. The securities_accounts field (brokerage products) and the securities_account field (retirement products) have been removed from the product responses. To find the securities accounts of a product, list the securities accounts of the account and filter on product. This affects the following endpoints:

• POST /accounts/{account_id}/products - Create a product
• GET /accounts/{account_id}/products - List products
• GET /accounts/{account_id}/products/{id} - Get a product
